In August 1998 I planned a one-week bike tour in northern Italy, from Passo Stelvio to the Dolomites. Unfortunately, my bicycle was lost in transit and arrived two or three days late, so the ride was cut quite a bit short.
But there was still enough time for Gavia, Stelvio, and several beautiful shorter climbs in the Merano area. My Dad came with me most of the way: I would cycle, he would drive, and we'd meet up for meals and in the evening.
My Dad had the camera most of the time, and he did not take too many photos, but I've scanned and posted a few of them.
